The California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) is established pursuant to Education Code section 52074. It is a public agency that is governed by a governing board composed of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction (or his or her designee), the president of the State Board of Education (or his or her designee), a county superintendent of schools appointed by the Senate Committee on Rules, a superintendent of a school district appointed by the Governor, and a teacher appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly.
