This video is a tribute to Veritasium. It is the first in a series of videos where I will being showing my admiration and appreciation for some film makers and videos that have inspired or helped me in one way or another. Veritasium is someone who's passion really comes through in his videos. His video on film making in particular (as well as his links to some videos by Ira Glass) really helped me with a tough choice I had to make a while ago.
The key goal of this video was to experience the style in which he shot his original video but I learnt a lot of other lessons along the way as well. The script itself was not perfect, I know, but it was a shorter explanation of something I'm very passionate about and am constantly being inspired by; the connectivity, diverseness and expressive platform the internet has created as well as it's ease of access. There were many more concepts I would liked to have mentioned but I did not want the video to be any longer than it already was.
You can find Veritasium's orginal video here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?feature=edit_ok&list=PLS2yrp7IIPNj-GKemcb5p8IrIA7EUwvTE
As well as both of his channel's here; http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHnyfMqiRRG1u-2MsSQLbXA
