The most important thing to remember about graphing lines is that you always need some combination of the slope of the line, and/or points on the line in order to graph it.

Sometimes though, that information is disguised. For example, you might be given the y-intercept, but that’s actually just a point on the line. Or you might be told that the line is parallel to another line, but that actually gives you the slope of the line.
