Stanford's School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences aims to draw more than 1,000 students from multiple majors to its educational farm for field learning every year. In the first six months of the 2017 academic year alone, more than 450 students visited the farm for a class module, field trip, student club activity, or tour. By the end of the next school year, farm director Patrick Archie aspires to have more than 1,000 Stanford students visiting annually for a learning purpose.
