Pre-Calculus unit on statistics. The students take an Algebra 1 quiz and compile the data for themselves and for the class. They then create a strategy on how to bring these low scores up; it can be worksheets, games, or any other study technique. The students use their strategy for 20 minutes three times per week to study basic math skills. At the end of the week, they take another test, grade and compile the stats. At the end of the four weeks they write a paper describing their own method of studying and if it was successful based on the collected statistics.
