I show you several neat patterns about the table of 9. For example, check what happens if you ADD the DIGITS of each answer in this table.
After explaining these "specialties", we practice the skip-counting pattern by nines. Next, we practice the actual multiplication table, using a "structured" drill.
And lastly, we practice the table "backwards", using missing factor problems. This essentially prepares students to learn the corresponding division facts at the same time.
