This video includes a lot of review about inverse functions before showing you how to find the derivative of an inverse function at a point. I review how to test if two functions are inverses with the definition of inverses. I also review the five steps to find the inverse of a function and I do the example with skills we have learned so far in Calculus...using the first derivative to test if the function is monotonic and 1 to 1, and find horizontal asymptotes of an irrational function.
NOTE: The linear inverse function at 36:00 is y^-1=(1/2)x-2. There is an annotation correction and is typed correctly in the Closed Captions.
