Interactive video lesson plan for: Komodo Dragon-Worlds Largest Lizard

Activity overview:

The Komodo Dragon-Worlds Largest DragonWelcome to MooMooMath and Science. In this video I would like to talk about the Komodo Dragon.
It is the largest lizard on earth.
They can reach lengths of 10 to 12 feet, and weigh up to 200 pounds.
They live on the Indonesian Island of Komodo and are only found on the Komodo National Park and the Island of Flores.
They will eat anything on the island, including pigs, deer, snakes.
The Komodo Dragen will even canabilize their young.
In fact the young will roll in feces to make themselves as unappealing as possible.
They are also great swimmers.
For a long time people thought they killed their young with nasty bacteria on their mouth, but in fact Komodo Dragons have venom glands.
Komodo dragons lay eggs, but amazingly the females can reproduce asexually.
There have been several deaths attributed to the Komodo dragons.
People who have fallen out of trees or washed up on the island.
The komodo dragon is a beast of a lizard.
