I started writing Math Mammoth books back in the early 2000s, after having tutored several homeschooled kids, and having seen the materials they used. I thought they lacked the conceptual understanding of mathematics, and I wanted to write something better.
In my books, I emphasize the conceptual understanding (the "why" and not only the "how"). Another emphasis is strong mental math skills.
Nowadays about half of my customers are teachers, so please don't think these books are only for homeschoolers.
In the video you also see Mathy, my mascot. Several of my customers have bought this mammmoth from Amazon for their children to be used at math time.
I encourage you to download over 300 FREE worksheets and pages from Math Mammoth books, and to use them with your students, so you can see how my materials are.
