Angela's Pick is "What's And Algorithm?" by Ted-Ed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6hfOvs8pY1k
December 7-13 is Computer Science Education Week in the U.S., an annual program to show students the power of code and computer science. Google is a founding partner of CS Education Week and is excited to participate company-wide in the campaign.
As a part of this year’s initiative, a "Picked by: Google Engineers" playlist was created for the YouTube Kids app. It showcases a diverse group of Googlers in CS and their favorite kid-friendly videos.
Within the playlist kids will learn introductory lessons to CS (What's an algorithm? What is the technical term for "cookie"?), as well as shown cool things that computer science can do, including LEGO Robotics, the science behind their favorite Pixar videos, and familiar characters who've use code to make incredible things.
Download the app to watch on YouTube Kids with your aspiring engineers.
