http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video playlist you will learn all about limits. We will begin discussing the definition of a limit and evaluating the general limit from a graph. We will then learn how to evaluate limits through direct substitution and then using algebraic processes such as factoring, rationalizing the radical, complex fractions and using special trig limits. After we understand how to evaluate a limit we will look at evaluating left and right had limits from a graph and functions. We will determine when a piecewise function is continuous or discontinuous as well as find the value that makes it continuous. That will bring us to the discussion of continuity and the Intermediate value theorem. Lastly we will look at infinite limits and evaluating limits as x approaches infinity. We will use our knowledge of vertical and horizontal asymptotes.
