Hi, I'm working on this "lesson" for interactive whiteboards. (The software I'm using is Gynzy for those who are interested.) The lesson is not finished yet, but could use some feedback. Please let me know what you think of it.
The basic idea was to display (a live) fire place on the whiteboard. I started adding some decorations. Then I thought it would be nice to make this page a starting point to various themed activities.
There is a link to an online radio that plays non-stop christmas songs. You can open that on a separate browser tab to keep it playing in the background.
There is a link to a holiday scene where you can zoom in and talk about the various things you see with your students. (Or just use it as a nice wallpaper for decoration.
Then there is a "games section" where you can find Hangman, Memory and (3) Word Search puzzel(s).
And lastly there is a video section where students can use the remote control to "zap" through 9 video clips.
