This video was inspired by my asking a lady to dance many years ago, and she got the timing of her "no" just right.
This was made in the main ballroom at Herräng when it wasn't being used. David Madison aided me greatly, and was effectively co-producer. We did a cut of it for use at the camp, and here is a version with a few refinements.
David was unsure of the punch at the end, but it makes me laugh. This is doubtless symptomatic of deep-rooted evil.
The main problem we had with the shoot was in casting: Elaine was just too habitually nice for her role, which called for her to be scythingly rude. We shot many takes of her saying "no" with such good grace that for a while it seemed that she would never mentally traumatise anyone.
