Join us on this flipped math lesson for CCLS 8.G.C.9 where we work through a problem that was inspired by a released common core exam item where we have to translate and model a verbal statement into a linear function and then graph it on the coordinate plane.

This lesson answers the questions: How do I graph a linear function? I do a graph a line when I know the slope and y-intercept? How do I model a linear function? How do I graph a function?

Our lessons are perfect for flipped classroom math teachers and students and for warm-up and exit ticket activities . This lesson is aligned with the 8th grade common core math learning standards for math and the SAT math curriculum as well.
