In this video, you will learn about nonlinear functions, and how you can use patterns to determine them. A nonlinear function is the opposite of a linear function, as can be inferred from the names. A linear function always uses the rule of y=mx+b, which is the slope intercept form for all linear equations and functions. A nonlinear function on the other hand, does NOT follow this rule. When it comes to determining whether a function is linear or nonlinear, you have to figure out the pattern in the table of values.
