This is a follow-up to my first video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-94if2lPb8
The first video was a response to Derek Muller (Veritasium) and Destin Sandlin (Smartereveryday). Derek and Destin produced complementary videos demonstrating the Coriolis effect in the northern and southern hemispheres: http://bit.ly/ToiletSwirl
An American Scientist reader, Tom DiLiberto (@TDiLiberto - https://twitter.com/TDiLiberto), wrote a blog post challenging their result: http://www.americanscientist.org/blog...
Tom proposed that "the only thing left to do is to assemble an army of kiddie-pool Coriolis experimenters to figure this out once and for all."
I attempted to repeat their results in North Carolina. Here we share those results with the world.
