Learn how to solve inequalities.
Follow these steps in order to solve inequalitiesSolving an Inequality

1) Divide the problem into two sections by drawing a vertical line through the inequality sign.

2) Identify the operation in the given problem.

3) Decide what the inverse operation is and show the inverse on both sides of the inequality.

4) The inverse operations will cancel one another.

5) Calculate the value of the other side of the inequality to get the answer. BOX IT!

6. If you multiply or divide by a negative number you switch the inequality.
