Dr. Euan Ashley is a cardiologist and assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine. He studies the use of genetics to predict and treat heart disease, and he is an expert in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, the leading cause of sudden death in athletes. Got any questions for him about heart disease and genetics-based medicine? You can submit them here and also vote on questions that other people have submitted.
About two weeks from now, Dr. Ashley will answer many of the top-ranked questions in another YouTube video.
Please note: he can't answer questions about personal medical issues; those should be directed to your doctor.
