How to convert a fraction to a percent
You can think of a fraction as division.
A fraction is basically the numerator divided by the denominator.
In order to convert a fraction to a decimal you divide the numerator by the denominator.
Next,you can convert the decimal into a percent by moving the decimal two places to the right or multiplying the percent by 100.
You can save time by memorizing several of the common fractions ,and their decimal equivalent.
For example 1/2 = .50 3/4 = .75
4/5 = .80
