A rapid showcase of the artworks sent in by my viewers, and the winners are announced. Some bizarre images to behold.

This was the edit from hell. People were expecting two videos from me this week, and the first on Wednesday. Instead, I spent one of the longest weeks of editing ever, getting to bed when the birds were singing. It took TWO DAYS just to download and label all the images, and sort them into categories. I may make another video about the making of this one, just so that I at least get more than one video out of this week's labours. Those of you who know about editing videos will perhaps appreciate the scale of the task of presenting all these pictures as you see them here. This took so much longer than the little animations I sometimes do.
In total, there were 52 winners. Well done to them, and sorry to all the many people who also sent in great images. I kept wanting to change my mind as I edited, but that would have delayed things even more.
I am very unlikely ever to do another art competition. The amount of work was near overwhelming, and I know that competition videos will never be my most popular. Perhaps the next one will be for (SHORT!) poems.
Lindybeige: a channel of archaeology, ancient and medieval warfare, rants, swing dance, travelogues, evolution, and whatever else occurs to me to make.
You can now buy the music I use over the end-plates of my videos, which was written as the theme music for The Adventures of Stoke Mandeville, Astronaut and Gentleman: https://lindybeige.bandcamp.com/releases
