Creat a number line
Mark positive integers on the right side and negative integers on left side of the middle point 'o'.
Number occurring on the right is greater than that on the left and the number on the left is smaller than that on the right.
In fact, we arrive at the following conclusions
Every positive integer is greater than every negative integer, since every positive integer is to the right side of every negative integer.
Zero is less than every integer, since O is to the left side of every positive integer.
Zero is greater than every negative integer, since O is to the right of every negative
The greater the number, the lesser is its opposite.
