Time lapse photography of the bacterial genus Lactobacillus growing on a nutrient medium. Lactobacillus, also called Döderlein's bacillus, is a genus of Gram-positive facultative anaerobic or microaerophilic rod-shaped bacteria. These are "friendly" bacteria that normally live in our digestive, urinary, and genital systems without causing disease. Lactobacillus is also in some fermented foods like yogurt and in dietary supplements.

He uses models and composites to cross the boundaries of scale and create special effects shots for high end TV documentary production.
