Tyler Jager is a 12-year-old 7th grader at Manchester Elementary Middle School in Manchester Center, northeast of Manchester. His Odyssey of the Mind team has won the tournament three times and placed 2nd once. He loves to read, play and write music and travel. He hopes to work at the U.N.

Tyler will be competing at the national level of the National Geographic Bee in Washington, D.C. Watch the top ten students compete for scholarships totaling $50,000 on the National Geographic Channel on Thursday, May 23 at 7 p.m. The finals will be broadcast later on public television stations. Check local listings.
