algebra-2-discriminant

When solving with the Quadratic Formula, the "discriminant" is the value that helps you figure out the types of solutions. Yes, it does remind me of the word "discrimination," even though it has nothing to do with that. I guess I've spent so much time in school studying about it, it's at the tip of my tongue. Either way, through the Quadratic Formula, these formulas are no match for our tolerant class, YAY MATH!
