Pinara is one of most atmospheric places I have ever visited. A dead city, uncovered from the undergrowth, overlooked by the dead eyes of so many cliff-side tombs.
I have bought a new computer, but it hasn't arrived yet, so for the moment, here is more old footage shot two years ago, edited for your viewing and listening pleasure.
There is always a nagging doubt when publicising places which are lovely largely because so few people go there.
I say 'Egyptian tombs' at one point. Actually, images of Lukka/Lycians appear more on temples than tombs.
