During a Google+ Hangout on Friday, August 9, NASA scientists and other experts discussed changes expected in the coming decades in the trends of wildfires and climate change as temperatures rise, seasons gradually shift and precipitation patterns vary. Rising global temperatures could mean that even areas not accustomed to seeing wildfires could be at risk in the future.
