Interactive video lesson plan for: P4A 2014: StoryCorps

Activity overview:

Vote for StoryCorps! https://www.projectforawesome.com/charity/storycorps/p4a-2014-storycorps

Hi there & Happy Project For Awesome! This year, my P4A video is about StoryCorps! They are a super cool nonprofit that focuses on collecting oral history from people from all different backgrounds and beliefs and storing it into the *Library of Congress*! Pretty fancy! Vote for StoryCorps if you believe that everyone has a story and that everyone's story matters! :)

I mentioned in this video that StoryCorps can give a voice to people who haven't been heard in history. Some initiatives and focuses they have are: StoryCorps Outloud (LGBTQ voices), Military Voices (veterans, service members), StoryCorps Historias (Latino community), StoryCorps Griot (Black African-American community), Memory Loss Initiative, and the September 11th Initiative.

Please feel free to share any thoughts, questions, comments, or concerns! :)
