If you hold views, make sure that they do not contradict each other. Many people will complain about people giving advantages to their children, and argue that in an ideal world, everyone would have the same upbringing. These same people also hate the thought of genetics's having an effect on who succeeds in life, and loudly criticise those who would suggest that genetics must have some effect. Here I point out that these two ideas are not compatible. One of them may be right, but they cannot both be.
