Get adequate sleep each night
Think of sleep as food for your brain, sleep is as important as air food and water.
Research has found that most teens needs between 8 and 9 hours of sleep each night, and that adults need between 7 and 8 hours of sleep each night.
Some people need a little more and some need a little less.
There is a very rare group of people between 1 and 3 % of the
Population that can get by on less than this, so most people need regular sleep hours.
Lack of sleep can lead to several problems!
It can limit your ability to concentrate and solve problems, increase acne, and can lead to aggression and inappropriate behavior.
It can cause you to eat too much and gain weight. The strange thing is that too much sleep be bad for your health.
Too much sleep is defined as more than 9 hours and can lead to increased illness, accidents, and a shortened life span.
Here are a couple of tips to help you with your sleep.
Make sleep a priority
Make sure you work on getting the appropriate amount of hours of sleep each night.
Make your room dark and quiet, and very sleep friendly.
Try to have the same bed time and wake up at the same time each morning and night and stick to it. Repeat a bed time ritual each night. This tells your body it is time to go to sleep
Finally, exercise helps you sleep.
Research has found you gotta sleep, if not your grumpy, can't concentrate, eat too much, and have increased acne. So get to sleep to help your grades.
