Will and his little league baseball team had a BIG Idea, "Hits Against Hunger". Will and his team recognized the need to help hungry families and decided they could use their love for baseball to help. They hope to make a difference by recruiting 100 local elementary school kids to participate. The kids find sponsors to pledge $1 to the food bank for every "hit" they make in their baseball season. The program raises awareness of the hungry in their community and also raises money to help feed them.
Will and his team were very inspired by Clifford's BIG Ideas and believe their "Hits Against Hunger" program will inspire even more people. Their BIG Idea was brought to life through the help of a grant from the BE BIG in Your Community Contest.
