This unit focuses on algebraic functions. Students will solve
quadratics by graphing, factoring, completing the square and
using the quadratic formula. In addition, students will change
quadratic functions into standard (vertex) form and explain the
effect of coefficients and variables on its graph. Students will
apply the fundamental theorem of algebra to polynomials.
Students will perform operations on complex numbers. Students
will find roots and poles of rational functions.
