A special event with James K. Galbraith, who holds the Lloyd M. Bentsen Jr. Chair of Government/Business Relations at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, the University of Texas at Austin. He was part of a working group organized by Yanis Varoufakis, Greece’s former minister of finance, during the Greek debt crisis. Galbraith was in Greece between February and July 2015, and witnessed the three-week closure of the Greek banks.
His book, Welcome to the Poisoned Chalice: The Destruction of Greece and the Future of Europe, will be published in June 2016 by Yale University Press.
