Stimulating Physics Support is a new project from the Stimulating Physics Network which provides support to physics teachers in the early stages of their career.
If you are a physics specialist trainee or newly-qualified teacher you may be eligible for light-touch mentoring through the project.
Participants can expect their SPS Mentor to make termly contact with them to help set targets for their continuing professional development, answer questions about teaching physics and run local events at which they can meet other early-career teachers and discuss teaching strategies and issues.
For more information about the project and to apply for mentoring please visit www.iop.org/sps
