This bridge event webinar, "Teaching Academic Content and Literacy to English Learners in Elementary and Middle School," was hosted by the Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Southwest on November 10, 2014. The webinar is in four parts. Part 3 of 4, which focuses on academic vocabulary, is led by Joseph Dimino, Ph.D., deputy executive director, Instructional Research Group, and Joan Morris, retired teacher specialist, Pasadena Unified School District. Both presenters were panel members for the Teaching Academic Content and Literacy to English Learners in Elementary and Middle School Practice Guide.
