Some researchers at NASA are pushing an ambitious plan that would allow us to explore an ocean. But this isn't an ocean on Earth…it's an ocean on Titan, one of Saturn's moons. Titan's ocean is very different from ours. It's made of hydrocarbons like ethane and methane. The mission would involve a top-secret space plane, a daring entry into the oily ocean of Titan and unmanned exploration of the sea floor of a distant moon. What might we learn if this project moves forward?
If you were in charge of planning the next space exploration mission, where would you want to go and why? Let us know in the comments below!
