Factorisation of quadratic equation ax^2 + bx + c = 0, can be done by finding two numbers such that their product is the product of first and last terms and also their sum is the middle term.This is illustrated in the following quadratic equations and word problems bassed on quadratic equations.

First combine all the like terms in the quadratic equation.
Secondly, degree of each term must drop from left to right starting from 2.
